Our Team
The team at FKS boasts over 200 combined years of experience working with children. Each member of the staff is trained in first aid/CPR, communicable diseases, child abuse recognition and continuing early childhood education. Your children are in great hands.
Miss Cindy
Director and Transitional-K Teacher
Miss Cindy is the owner, founder and director of For Kids Sake Preschool and Daycare. She taught Pre-K and Transitional-K for thirty years and still has the same passion as on day one! She has a B.S. in Elementary Education and has also taught in the local school systems. She cannot imagine a more rewarding profession!
Miss Jaime
Transitional-K Teacher
Miss Jaime has a B.S. in Elementary Education. She came to FKS nearly two decades ago and has been an asset since she began teaching. Miss Jaime started in the Older Two’s program, then she came to teach in the Transitional-K program ten years ago. She is a skilled professional with boundless love for all of her students. Miss Cindy would be lost without her!
Miss Renee
Assistant Director and Pre-K Teacher
Miss Renee has her CDA in Early Childhood Education for preschool ages three to five. She has been teaching at FKS since the doors first opened in 1996. Miss Renee has taught in the three year old preschool program as well as the Pre-K program. She brings joy and fun to the field of teaching, and her students always fall in love with her. Miss Renee is part of the foundation of this school.

Pre-K Teacher
Miss Presley’s vibrant personality and love of children sent her straight to the classroom! Always appropriately prepared, she joyfully leads them down paths to explore and learn about the world around us. She is a natural. Children cannot help but prosper from her guidance, care, and knowledge!
Miss Lisa
Pre-K Teacher
Miss Lisa came to FKS with her CDA in Early Childhood Education and experience teaching in another center. She works with Miss Colleen and Miss Renee in the Pre-K classroom teaching math. Miss Lisa is dedicated to helping children reach their potential academically, emotionally, and socially.

Miss Lisa began teaching in our three year old classroom in 2022. She, along with Miss Lara, inspire, entertain, and shower the children with unique experiences. Miss Lisa is always coming up with creative ways for the children to embrace and love learning!

Preschool Teacher
Miss Lara started at FKS more than a decade ago. She works with all children up through our oldest school agers. She is currently working with the three year old children in the morning. After lunch, Miss Lara picks up our school age children from Boardman Elementary Schools. She has a positive attitude to the moon and beyond. All of the children in her care, no matter what age, feel safe, comforted, and laugh a ton!
Miss BJ
Preschool Teacher
Miss BJ has been at For Kids’ Sake for ten years. During this time she received her CDA in Early Childhood Education. Her zest for life and her passion for teaching young children has been a blessing at FKS! She has taught in the Pre-K and Preschool classrooms during her tenure, and her energy and imagination are limitless. All children entering her classroom will benefit from her love, kindness, and creativity!

Miss Maria began working for FKS straight out of high school. From her first day on the job she jumped right in. This not only delighted the children, but endeared her to her coworkers. Miss Maria works afternoons with the three year olds.

Older Two’s Teacher
Miss Karen was a high school Spanish teacher before joining the FKS family in the older two year old room. When she came to us In 2022, she expressed her love for young children. We have watched this play out in the classroom, where she is always kind and caring with the children. Both she and her co-teacher, Miss Kiera, are always teaching the children new things in a very positive, fun way.

Miss Kiera joined the FKS family in 2022. She is devoted to giving the best care possible to each child in the Older Two’s classroom. Miss Kiera and Miss Karen are an awesome team. Their combination of learning and play is a perfect balance for the children in their care.

Miss Chalsie came to us with prior experience working with Pre-K classes. She is a talented and dedicated teacher with a teamwork attitude. We consider ourselves lucky to have found her and know that your children will always benefit under her guidance.
Miss Sydney
Tiny Two’s Teacher
Miss Sydney is a nursing student at Kent State University. We welcomed her to FKS in the spring of 2022. We are hoping that when she graduates from nursing school she chooses to work in pediatrics! She is truly wonderful with the two year old children.
Miss Akira
Tiny Two’s Teacher
Miss Akira started at FKS in 2022. She has her Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Miss Akira has been known as the “child whisperer” - the children follow her gentle lead. Her patience and dedication are both endless!
Miss Amy
Older Toddler Teacher
Miss Amy has worked at FKS for more than two decades. She spent the first fifteen years working with infants, where she was an excellent asset to the running of the Infant room. Then she started running her own room with toddlers between 20-24 months of age. Miss Amy is soft spoken and listens well to the children she works with, and as a result they love being in her classroom!

Miss Sharon joined the FKS Younger Toddler room in 2022. The children fell in love with her because she is constantly interacting with them during play. She is definitely an asset to Miss Alicia and Miss Ronnie!

Younger Toddler Teacher
Miss Alicia started at FKS more than twenty years ago. During her time at the center, she has endeared herself to all of the babies and toddlers she has worked with. Only kindness finds a home in Miss Alicia’s heart. Not only do the children respond to her sweetness, but so do her fellow employees. All who work at FKS would agree there is no one kinder!
Miss Karen
Assistant Director and Infant Room Teacher
Miss Karen is one of the founding fathers of FKS. She has been here since the doors opened in 1996 along with Miss Renee and Miss Cindy. She should be called the “baby whisperer” for how well she knows the infants. Not only do the babies that attend FKS love Miss Karen, their parents do as well. She reassures every family that their baby is receiving the best possible care at all times!
Miss Kari
Infant Room Teacher
Miss Kari has been employed with FKS for eight years and is also a graduate of the school. During this time she was smart enough to learn from the best - her mom! Miss Kari could not possibly have had better training in infant care than the training her mother provided her. She can sometimes be found as a “human mat” for all of the babies learning to crawl! Miss Kari is involved, playful and affectionate with the babies.

Miss Debbie has been at FKS for more than a decade. She has worked with every age group in the center. Her warmth and generosity of spirit permeate everything she does and everyone she comes in contact with throughout the day. The school agers love to come off the bus and tell her all about their days, and Miss Debbie is genuinely interested in what they have to say.

Administrative Assistant
Miss Danielle is a jack of all trades. We rely on her for all of our technological queries, as well as files, phone calls, assisting with classroom needs, ordering supplies and anything else that pops up! She answers every need with grace and kindness.
